Booking Policy

Confirmation of booking, either verbal or written, confirms the client’s acceptance of these terms and conditions. Once the Client has made a booking for a specific time and date, SDS will not accept any other work from other clients for those times and dates. As a result, if a booking is subsequently cancelled or postponed, SDS reserves the right to charge the client a cancellation fee according to the schedule to the right.

Working Hours

A full working day consists of 8.5hrs including a lunch break - anything additional to this will be charged as overtime. 

Cancellation Policy and Fees

A booking is considered firm as from the date of confirmation (Verbal or written) and accordingly SDS will, at her discretion, charge a fee for cancellation or postponement. This fee will be charged at the following rate: When a client cancels a booking within 5 working days of any confirmed date, a fee of 50% of the booked time rate will be charged. When a client cancels styling within 2 days of any confirmed date, a fee of 100% of the booked time rate will be charged. In the event of the job being rescheduled at time of cancellation 50% of this fee will be added to the invoice when the assignment is completed

Diary pencil dates cancelled within 48hrs of the shoot date and not rebooked, will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the original day rate. 24hrs will incur the full 100% invoice rate.

SDS reserves the right to release pencils at her own discretion should client be un-responsive to contact either telephone or email.

Mileage

Mileage is additional to day rate and charged at a rate of .55pm unless otherwise agreed.

Expenses

Shoot expenses such as hotels where deemed necessary, meals for overnight (standard allowance of £25 per evening) plus transport are charged additional to the agreed day rate.

Invoicing

Invoicing will be issued within 5 working days of shoot date and payable within 30days of invoice issue date. Late invoices are subject to a discretionary interest fee.

Reshoots

Where Images have been signed-off by client / team on your shoot day, that require a re-shoot at a later date are subject to a reshoot charge.
